Automation and control

Automation is where our interdisciplinary approach comes into its own. We strive to understand both mechanical engineering (what we control), electrical engineering (how we control), and software (with what we control) in order to program, design and implement central monitoring and control systems - SCADA and BMS technologies.

Approach

Automation only works if the people who design it understand the mechanics they control, the electrical infrastructure that transmits the signals, and the software that interprets them. MI MARIS has all three areas of expertise. The result is a control system built for your plant, not tailored to it.

Process

We start with what needs to be monitored and controlled: temperatures, pressures, flows, energy consumption, equipment status, and alarms. We design the control architecture - PLCs, sensors, networks, boards - and then program the SCADA or BMS layer on top of it. Operators get clear dashboards, technicians get diagnostics, and management gets reports. Everything is remotely accessible, fully documented, and easy to maintain.

Benefits

An automated plant uses less energy because it adjusts its operation to real-time needs. It detects faults before they cause downtime. It adapts to load, weather conditions, tariff periods, and process requirements without anyone touching a button.
